Are You Struggling to Make Ends Meet? We are Here to Help! The Sir Stuart & Lady Florence Goodwin Charity is committed to helping individuals and families facing financial hardship. Our charity provides assistance to anyone in need (there’s no age limit) and provides grants for a variety of uses including mobility scooters, stair lifts and white goods. Roof repairs, funeral costs and bathroom alterations have also been funded previously. We will also consider applications for temporary hardship, such as after fire, theft, flooding, or loss of employment. In exceptional cases, the Trustees may also provide a grant to cover the special needs of people with long-term illness. For instance, this could include patients receiving dialysis while on holiday. Who Can Apply? If you are experiencing financial difficulty, and live in the old Rural District of East Retford, you may be eligible for help. (Full details of the local villages covered are provided with the application form, but includes residents of 44 parishes in Bassetlaw excluding the towns of Retford, Worksop and Harworth.) How to Apply: Reach out to us today by calling 01909 239911 or email goodwincharity@outlook.com for further details or an application form. Let us be the helping hand you need to get back on your feet. All inquiries are confidential, and no one should have to face financial hardship alone.
